Easy Lighting Instructions: 1. Without tearing. loosen paper around roasting log. 2. Stack 3 logs with the seam up. 3. Light at each arrow. 4. 3 roasting logs will burn for up to 1 hour. Safety Instructions: 1. If using in your fireplace open damper or flue before starting fire to ensure adequate air supply. 2. Ensure you have no downdraft and that your chimney and burn area is clean. 3. Not for use in wood stoves or air tight stoves. 4. For fireplaces never use without a grate (1-3 inch spacing) and fire screen. Always leave glass doors open. Do not use with andirons. 5. Do not use flammable liquids or fireplace gas log lighters to ignite logs. 6. Firelogs may become extremely volatile if agitated and may flare-up; do not move. poke. or break up a burning firelog. 7. If necessary. extinguish with a dry chemical fire extinguisher (UL or ULC listed Class B) or douse flames with sand. 8. Adult supervision required. Never leave children. disabled persons. or pets alone near fire. 9. Close damper or flue when ashes are cool. Dispose of ashes properly in a metal can. 10. Clean chimney regularly.
