It is recommended to clean or replace your filters every 3-6 months depending on use. The outer foam filter is washable clean by hand washing in warm water. A mild detergent may be used if desired. Allow the filter to air dry completely before replacing. Its a good idea to buy an extra filter to always have a dry one ready to use!
